Credit Award for Puritas Senior Apartments – Cleveland, OH

More great news for Ohio! Last week, Commonwealth received the news that Puritas Senior Apartments in Cleveland, Ohio was awarded a 9% credit allocation from the Ohio Housing Finance Agency!
This $14.4M development will provide 48 1 & 2-bedroom homes to seniors (55+) making between 30-70% of the area median income. Residents will have access to a community room, fitness center, onsite laundry facilities, and property management office. Additionally, in partnership with Lakewood Senior Citizens, Inc., Puritas Senior Apartments will provide residents with an array of health, wellness, and socialization services. The development falls within a neighborhood that is lacking sufficient affordable senior housing and has not benefited from a new affordable housing community in over 20 years.
This is Commonwealth’s second credit award in Ohio… watch for it to open in early 2025!
