Rhonda Orosz

Vice President of Development Services Administration

Office:  Middleton, WI

Focus:  Leadership, training and coordination of Development Services.  Work closely with the Development Service team and Developers on various applications, underwriting, due diligence all the way through to project closeout/stabilization.

Experience:  Rhonda has over 28 years of LIHTC experience, the last 15 being at Astar/Cardinal Capital Management as Manager of Tax Credits. Her role included those of a Developer with a large focus on the analysis, scoring and application processes for LIHTC, AHP, and other soft sources.  Rhonda also provided a lead role with Investor/Lender negotiations, closings and relations. Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with an emphasis in Mathematics from UW-LaCrosse.

Impressive Facts:  Secured a $3M Capital Magnet Fund Grant through the CDFI for her prior employer’s non-profit housing client.  This provided much-needed GAP financing for LIHTC Projects and Refinancings.  In addition, provided a lead role in several 4% Bond transactions.  The first of these transactions involved 21 Section 8 Projects with 64 buildings across 32 scattered sites including some in very rural areas and totaling over 1000 units in just one transaction.  At the time, this was the largest Bond transaction ever in the U.S.

Fun Stuff:  Rhonda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, out on the Harley, UTV’ing and boating throughout Wisconsin and around the Twin Cities and the occasional gambling trip with her my mom and sister.
