Focus: Jonathon’s primary focus is to sustainably grow revenue and NOI at our communities while maintaining exceptional affordable housing for our residents to enjoy calling home – with and through the cooperation of others.
Experience: Jonathon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, conferred with Honor from Michigan State University. He currently holds his Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designations. Prior to joining Commonwealth, Jonathon worked his way up to the Regional Property Manager role in student, conventional, and affordable housing – managing communities as small as 52 units to as large as 504.
Impressive Facts: Prior to his full-time career in Property Management, Jonathon undertook a summer-long internship with Médecins du Monde (Doctors of the World) in the Moria and Kara Tepe refugee camps in Lesvos, Greece.
Fun Stuff: In his free time, Jonathon enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations with his mom. On the typical weekend, you will find him either with a puzzled look while attempting home remodeling projects or relaxing around the grill with friends and family.
