Commonwealth in WHEDA Mentor-Protege Program
The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (“WHEDA”) recently selected The Commonwealth Companies (“Commonwealth”) to participate in their Mentor-Protégé Program. The program pairs an established developer with an emerging development company or individual. This mentoring relationship helps the new developers to learn first hand about the development process, and to work on real projects.
This year’s emerging developer is Dustin Bowie, a recent graduate of Marquette University’s Associates in Commercial Real Estate Program. Mr. Bowie will have the opportunity to participate in each of Commonwealth’s businesses (development, construction and management), as well as work directly on the William A. Passavant residential care apartment complex in Milwaukee.
